Belluzzi and Marti on pole at Mugello

A busy day of practice has just ended at the Mugello International Circuit for the Ferrari Racing Days event, which takes place this weekend. On track for the second round of the season are the F430 entered in the Italian series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.
Quickest in qualifying for the main category of the Trofeo Pirelli was Andrea Belluzzi: the standard bearer for the Motor/Modena team will get away from pole position, ahead of Thomas Kemenater (Rossocorsa/Pellin) and Giorgio Sernagiotto (Motor/Piacenza). Of the gentlemen drivers in the Coppa Shell, fastest times were established by Benedetto Marti (Motor/Piacenza) then Stefano Gai and Tommaso Rocca (Rossocorsa).

Tomorrow’s programme of races gets underway at 10.50 and, apart from the events for the Prancing Horse one-make series, the Trofeo Abarth 500 stages its second round, having had two practice and qualifying sessions today.
The two races in the Italian series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli will be shown live on Sunday 3 May on Sky Sport 2 at 11.30 and 15.45. The same channel will then repeat Race 1 on 4 May at 17 and on 6 May at 9.30, while repeats of Race 2 can be seen on 3 May at 22, 5 May at 17 and 7 May at 9.30.
