Valentino Rossi conducted the opening interview of the fourth edition of the Ferrari Magazine

Another episode in the story of the golden thread that connects Valentino Rossi and Ferrari. After the several tests the MotoGP Champion has been carrying out behind the wheel of the single-seater from the Prancing Horse since 2005, now Valentino has a new role: journalist. He conducted the opening interview of the fourth edition of the Ferrari Magazine, the official magazine from Maranello, destined for its clients and the fans of Ferrari all over the world, out today. His interview partner is another person who knows about World Titles: Stefano Domenicali, Constructors' World Champion in his first year as the Scuderia's Team Principal. The interview confirms the great friendship between these two men, but also shows Valentino's real interest in all aspects of Formula One: his questions are digging deep, even when the argument is the effects of the current economic crisis on the world of motorsports.
This topic is also in the centre of another exclusive interview published in the quarterly magazine with Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo, emblematically titled "The dawn of a new era". In the interview Montezemolo analyses the evolution of Formula One over the last 30 years and the necessity to open a new chapter in the history of this sport. "It would be nice if we could go back to simple rules: weight, fuel, number of tyres," Montezemolo says. "But simple rules clash with the costs. The planning has to be carried out together with the teams. Everybody has to contribute with their respective role; just like in football, where there are the Federation and the league, both working with a precise function to make the rules work and guarantee spectacle and earnings. In fact one cannot only think about the costs, but also has to increase earnings. This is the only way Formula 1 will be able to conduct its progressive role."
The main theme of the magazine's fourth edition is colour, as seen though a photographic lens with a Ferrari in several unusual places around the world and a story about colours in motorsports, written by Mike Doodson, one of the most renowned Anglo-Saxon sports journalists.
