Further problems for Ferrari at Sakhir

Sakhir, 18th February

More small problems for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro this morning at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, where the Team is conducting its test sessions. This morning Felipe Massa got back behind the F60's wheel. The Brazilian driver immediately started to work on different set up options, but already after the fourth lap he had to slowly come back to the box, because the car had a problem with the gearbox. Only at 10:45am the Ferrari was back on the track, while the other two drivers at Sakhir (Glock for Toyota and Heidfeld for BMW) were driving their laps. When the teams stopped for the lunch break Felipe had driven 31 laps, less than half of the laps driven by the two Germans. Glock had driven 72 and Heidfeld 64. Meanwhile the lap times are extremely balanced and the three drivers are half a tenth of a second apart: Heidfeld was the fastest with a lap time of 1.33.753, followed by Glock (1.33.770) and Felipe (1.33.794).

Today there is a strong wind blowing at the track with especially strong headwinds on the main straight.
