The MC12 has won the prestigious 6 Hours of Vallelunga

The Maserati MC12 fielded by Racing Box has won the prestigious 6 Hours of Vallelunga. In the driving seat was Davide Mastracci-Leonardo Maddalena-Michele Serafini. At the Roman circuit, the MC12 proved to be quickest of the GT1 cars in yesterday's qualifying session. The Trident car took third on the grid overall.

The MC12 finished ahead of the LMP1 class Lister Storm, driven by Zonca-Belicchi. (14 laps down) and the Chrysler Viper with Ceccato-Sabatin-Spinelli on board (15 laps down.

The win was yet another great result in an endurance race after the one-two at the 24 Hours of Spa and the fine showing at the 12 Hours of Sebring. It is another win to add to the positive outcome in the FIA GT championship. These performances allowed the Trident company to take the Constructors' Cup.
