Ferrari Challenge and FXX Programme at Mugello circuit

This coming weekend, no less than 40 F430 will be taking part in the sixth round of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy on the renovated Mugello International Circuit. The event will see the gentlemen drivers competing in the Shell Cup and will also feature the laboratory-cars entered in the exclusive FXX Programme.

Nicola Gianniberti (Ineco/Ram) arrives as leader of the Pirelli Trophy classification on 227 points, while heading the gentlemen drivers in the Shell Cup is Riccardo Ragazzi (Ineco/MP) on 239 points. Among competitors in the European series of the one-make championship, Nicolas Misslin, Karl and Phillip Baron in the Pirelli Trophy and Terence Coleman, Edouard Graveraux, Plamen Kralev and Valint Tibor in the Shell Cup, will make the most of the Italian round as practice for the World Finals, to be held later at the Tuscan circuit.

The event gets underway on Saturday 20th September with free practice and qualifying. Sunday sees the four races on the car and further track test sessions for the Owner-Test Drivers and their FXX cars.

The two races in the Italian series of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy will be shown live on Sky Sport 2 at 10.20 (Race 1) and at 15.50 (Race 2.) Race 2 will then be repeated that same Sunday at 23.45, Tuesday 23rd September at 20.00, Wednesday 24th September at 9.30 and 01.30. Race 1 can be seen again, still on Sky Sport 2 on Monday 22nd September at 9.30 and 17.00. As for the Shell Cup, that will be shown live at 12.05 and 16.05 with replays of Race 1 on Tuesday 23rd September at 9.30 and 17.00, Race 2 on Tuesday 23rd September at 01.30, Wednesday 24th September at 20.00 and Thursday 25th at 9.30.
