Le département Héritage de Venturi - qui gère l’entretien et la fourniture de pièces détachées des 700 Venturi produites depuis 20 Ans - présente la « Venturi Héritage GT3 »: la GT française la plus performante de tous les temps.
Cette voiture de course s’inscrit dans la vision de Venturi selon laquelle l’usage des automobiles de sport sera de plus en plus limité aux circuits.


Dans la lignée du mythique “Venturi Gentlemen Drivers Trophy”, crée en 1992 par Stéphane RATEL et qui rassembla un plateau de 75 véhicules, Venturi Automobiles va participer à un nouveau championnat GT3 FIA.

Sous la direction de Gérard DUCAROUGE (ex-Lotus Formula 1, Matra Formula 1 et Le Mans), notre équipe technique a conçu et développé un véhicule de compétition ultra performant.
Fiers de l’histoire glorieuse de Venturi en compétition, nous avons conservé la lignée graphique des Venturi du passé, tout en modernisant totalement la partie mécanique : un moteur V8 4,2 l à compresseur mécanique, développant 450 CV, associé à une boite séquentielle 6 vitesses synchronisée. L’empattement a été allongé et le poids maintenu à 1100 kg. La carrosserie et les freins sont en carbone.

Une Venturi de course qui affrontera dès l’année prochaine des GT prestigieuses à l’occasion de ce nouveau championnat GT3 FIA. Un concept innovant de courses organisé sous forme de “Coupe des Coupes” et qui offrira aux pilotes amateurs passionnés une formule intermédiaire entre la coupe mono-marque et la compétition internationale GT2/GT1/LMP. Les courses seront disputées au cours de 5 évènements européens : 4 fois 2 courses de 1 heure, dans le cadre des meetings FIA, et une course de 500 km.

La nouvelle Venturi Héritage GT3 sera présentée officiellement le 2 décembre à Monaco, à l’occasion du lancement du Championnat GT3.

Venturi is back to Competition !

The Venturi Héritage department, which runs the maintenance and supply of the spare parts for the 700 Venturi produced those last 20 years, presents “the Venturi Héritage GT3”: the highest-performance French GT ever built.
The Venturi Héritage GT3 is complementary with Venturi’s idea that sports cars’ use will be more and more limited to circuit racing.

In the tradition of the mythical “Venturi Gentlemen Drivers Trophy” created by Stéphane Ratel in 1992 and which gathered an impressive array of 75 vehicles, Venturi Automobiles will participate in the new FIA GT3 Championship.

Leaded by Gérard Ducarouge (former Lotus Formula 1, Matra Formula 1, and Le Mans), our team has conceived and developed a very high-performance race car.

Proud of Venturi’s glorious competition years, we kept the graphic lineage of the past Venturi cars, but totally modernized the mechanics by putting a V8 4.2l supercharged engine with 450 hp coupled with a 6 speed sequential-synchromesh-manual gearbox. The wheelbase has been lengthened and the weight maintained at 1100 kg.

The Venturi Héritage GT3 will be a genuine race car that will next year face prestigious GTs on the occasion of this new FIA GT3 Championship. It is a very innovative race concept organised as a “Cup of the Cups” that will offer to amateur but passionate pilots an intermediary solution between single-make cups and international competitions such as GT2/GT1/LMP. There will be 5 European meetings: four events where two one-hour races would be run in the framework of the FIA meetings, and one 500 km race mixed with FIA GT2 cars.

The new Venturi Héritage GT3 will be officially presented on the 2nd of December in Monaco, on the occasion of the GT3 Championship launch.
