New drivers get to grips with the Trofeo

Under a wintry sky that had brought rain during the night, seven drivers gathered at the track situated close to Parma. They were divided into five crews for their tests in the Trofeo GranSport. The participants mounted wet weather tyres as the surface had not dried out enough for dry tyres to be used.

They again ran more than 100 kilometres, allowing them to gain an insight into the handling of the car on a slippery surface. Stefania Ballabio attracted interest as she proved to be very quick.

Maserati Corse will, in all probability, organise another test day at Varano de´ Melegari on 23 November.
