The Ambassador of Japan in Italy visits Maserati

The Ambassador of Japan in Italy, Mrs. Nobuko Matsubara, visited the Maserati headquarters in Modena today, meeting personally with the Chief Executive Officer of Maserati, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell. The Ambassador of Japan joined a delegation of twenty-five representatives of Japanese companies and members of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Italy.

In the ultramodern Maserati showroom of Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, the Ambassador of Japan was shown the complete Maserati line-up while touring the technological areas of the plant as well as the production lines.

The visit to the historic Maserati site in Modena was part of a presentation program coordinated by Confindustria Modena, the local branch of the Confederation of Italian Industry.

With almost 400 units sold annually, Japan is the fifth marketplace in the world for Maserati, which is represented locally by the Cornes & Co. Ltd. official importer.
