Maurizio Fondriest visits Maranello

This afternoon, Maurizio Fondriest, the 1988 road racing cycling world champion, was a guest of the Prancing Horse. During the visit, which began with the offices of Enzo Ferrari at the Fiorano track, Fondriest was shown the various production areas of the plant, from the Nuova Meccanica to the Car Assembly and the main areas linked to the Formula Uomo project, through which Ferrari sets the human element at the core of its activities. Through the means of a bicycle ride run over seven stages, from Cles to Rome, Fondriest wanted to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of his first title, while supporting, through the sale of celebratory component sets and memorabilia donated by other champions who backed the initiative, the Piccolo Fratello and the Italian AIL Association, which is involved in the fight against leukaemia.
