New FIA GT3 European Championship - First information released

After receiving approval from the GT Commission, the first news has been released on the new FIA GT3 European Championship. This exciting new series for non-professional drivers will get underway in 2006, running alongside the FIA GT Championship.

With prestigious brands, recent models and impeccable presentation, the concept has already generated a lot of interest. The competitors bulletin, including a reply coupon to join the mailing list, and an introductory brochure can be downloaded from the site. The Championship will be presented at the next meeting of the World Motor Sport Council. A press conference and launch is planned for Monaco on December 2nd.
