The Fiat FreestyleTeam visits Ferrari

Ferrari played host this morning to representatives of the Fiat FreestyleTeam. The squad was created in 2004 and includes athletes from various freestyle disciplines: snowboarding, freestyle skiing, skateboarding, surfing and and kitesurfing. The Prancing Horse visit came after the team had been to the Skipass di Modena event, an exhibition dedicated to promoting the 2006 Winter Olympics to be held in Turin.

Claudio Bosia (2005 ski freestyle Italian champion and Olympic athlete), Mattia Pegorari (runner-up in the 2005 Italian freestyle ski championships and Olympic athlete), Simone Malusà (2004 runner-up in world boardercross - snowboard - and Olympic athlete), Piercarlo Ricasoli (third in the 2004 Italian kitesurfing championship) all had the chance to take a close up look at the production line. They also visited the selleria, where all the leather Ferrari interiors are put together, and the Nuova Meccanica building that designs Ferrari GT engines.
At the end of the visit the four athletes gathered for the traditional photograph. This time it was taken in the showroom with a splendid 612 Scaglietti, the Ferrari flagship model.
