Grand final for Ferrari Racing Days at Hockenheim

Maranello, 23 September 2007

Second and final day of racing at the Hockenheim (Germany) circuit in the "Ferrari Racing Days" event that also featured demonstration runs from the single-seaters prepared by the Maranello F1 Clienti department.

Victory in Race-2 of the European Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, for the F430 cars, went to Philipp Baron (Austria - Baron Service,) with Thomas Kemenater (Italy - Rossocorsa/Pellin) and Ange Barde (France - Stradale Automobile) completing the podium trio.
As for the gentlemen drivers in the Shell Cup, again part of the same one-make series, Sunday's race saw the win go to Plamen Kralev (Bulgaria - Rossocorsa,) with Ronnie Kessel (Switzerland - Kessel Racing) in the runner-up position ahead of Jaimie Constable (Great Britain - Ferrari GB Dealer Team.)




The final races in the European Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge, featuring the historic Prancing Horse jewels and also open to cars of the Trident marque, produced the following winners: Willi Balz (Germany - 1937 Maserati 6CM) in Grid A; Irvine Laidlaw (Great Britain - 1957 Maserati 250 S) in the B class; Irvine Laidlaw (Great Britain - 1972 Ferrari 312 PB) in the C group.

Both these series, along with all the activities run by Corse Clienti will be back in action at the Mugello circuit (Florence) from 24-28 October as part of the traditional Ferrari World Finals.
