Lausitz: World Superbike Race 2 - Summary
The second World Superbike race at Eurospeedway Lausitz has been won by Troy Bayliss, with Nori Haga second, Max Biaggi third, Toseland fourth, Corser fifth and Xaus sixth.
Bayliss led from the start, quickly pulling out a lead which Haga took fifteen laps to overcome. Bayliss took the lead again on lap 20 and pulled out an advantage which he held until the end of the race. Biaggi was a lonely third, while Toseland and Corser scrapped all the way to the line for fourth and fifth place.
Toseland’s championship lead is now reduced to 41 points; he has 375 to Haga’s 334, with 100 points still up for grabs.
