Countdown to the 2007 Ferrari World Finals

The Italian and European series of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy will be in action together this weekend at the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit at Le Castellet, France, for their final and penultimate rounds respectively before the joint final at the 2007 Ferrari World Finals that take place at the Mugello Circuit from 24 to 28 October. As usual at the Tuscan track, all activities run by the Corse Clienti department of Maranello will be on the programme, along with the traditional demonstration by Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro on the main day of the event.
The French round will be enlivened by demonstrations of the F1 Clienti and sessions for the FXX Programme. Going into this event, Vito Postiglione (team Motor/Malucelli) heads the Italian Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, with Giorgio Massazza (Rossocorsa) heading up the classification for the gentlemen drivers in the national Shell Cup.
The European one-make series featuring the F430 Challenge cars currently sees Ireland's Michael Cullen (Rossocorsa) lead the Pirelli Trophy with Monaco's Philippe Prette (Baron Service) in front in the Shell Cup.
The event gets underway tomorrow, Friday 31 August, with the initial free practice and qualifying sessions.
