Galleria Ferrari shows new FIAT 500 and the one driven by Luca di Montezemolo amongst Formula One, Granturismo and Sport cars

As from Friday, 6th July, until mid-September, the Galleria Ferrari at Maranello will present - amongst many models with the Prancing Horse - the 500. But not the F2 world champion racing car of Ascari, already part of the museum, but the eagerly-awaited new FIAT 500.
Ferrari and the FIAT 500 have something in common in fact, a great story which started many years ago: the first sparkle of motor sport passion by Luca di Montezemolo, today's President of Ferrari and Fiat, was born with his participation in races on tracks and in hill climbs with a little red 1964 500.
FIAT 500 and Ferrari were also part of Pixar's wonderful movie "Cars" about American motor racing. Amongst the cars in this animated adventure Luigi, impersonated by a Fiat 500, was a vital character, and the Ferrari F430 too, with Michael Schumacher's voice.
All visitors to the Galleria will be granted the show to see both the new FIAT 500 and the original one, driven by Montezemolo, beyond the cars from Formula One, the Granturismo and Sport category, and everything else the Galleria offers.
Another peculiar detail is something else the new Fiat and Ferrari have in common: the long waiting list for both the Ferrari F430 and the new FIAT 500. Talking about success!
The Galleria Ferrari at Maranello is open daily from 9:00 to 19:00 h.
