Ferrari 60 Relay in Marche and San Marino

Ancona, 2nd June 2007

After crossing Sicily, on Saturday, 2nd June, the "Ferrari 60 Relay" left in the direction of the Marche region. The participating Ferrari clients and their cars met at the Poltrona Frau offices in Tolentino, the prestigious manufacturer of the leather interior of the Ferrari Gran Turismo cars. President Franco Moschini welcomed the participants, who later on had the possibility to visit the works, before they left in the direction of Marche's capital Ancona, where the cars arrived on Piazza del Papa at around 13:00h.

The Relay also passed the Republic of San Marino, where the Ferraristi were welcomed at the Maranello Rosso Musei by Sandra Lodi, Maranello Rosso's administrator, and by Secretary of State Paride Andreoli.

The passing of the baton from Italy's ambassador to San Marino, Fabrizio Santurro, to Fabrizio Violati, racing driver and dear friend of Enzo Ferrari, has been a very special and emotional moment.
