Silverstone: Review By Numbers


BAYLISS WITH HODGSON - Troy Bayliss scored his 16th pole position, sharing fourth place in history with Neil Hodgson. Bayliss needs only one more pole to share the third place with Doug Polen.

In the race Troy took his 37th win, his third straight win at Silverstone.

110 - At Silverstone Troy Corser scored his 110th podium. Up to now he has shared the all-time record with Carl Fogarty; now he stands alone at the top of the chart.

50 - Yamaha scores its 50th fastest lap with Noriyuki Haga. The Japanese manufacturer is the third to reach this goal, after Ducati and Honda.

WEST - It was the first win in Supersport for the Australian rider, who at 25 years, 10 months and 10 days becomes the 29th rider to win a Supersport race. West is back on winning ways after 4 years. His last win was the Assen race in the 2003 250cc. World Championship.
