Cairo, 27th May 2007

The Egyptian stage of the Ferrari 60 Relay featured some spectacular events and was organized flawlessly. The cars of the participants met, together with delegates of the authorities and the Ferrari Egypt staff on Saturday morning, 26th May; the cars of the Tour left immediately in the direction of the pyramids of Giza, a breathtaking backdrop for a photo session with the cars from Ferrari. Eventually the cars came back to Cairo and the usual ceremony was held and the gift was handed over at the Italian consulate in the presence of the Italian ambassador Antonio Badini.

The following stage brought to the cars to the Katameya Heights, a place of unbelievable natural beauty. Here the staff and the numerous participating clients were greeted with a hearty welcome.

In the morning the cars drove back to Cairo and the press conference was held at the Ferrari Showroom, in the presence of Mr. Khaled Mahmoud, President of the MM Group. In the evening the members of the Tour and the clients participated in the gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt, where around 250 VIPs contributed to exalt the Egyptian atmosphere of the day.
