Victory in ALMS for the Team Risi Competizione F430 GT

The Ferrari F430 GT, driven by Brazilian Jaime Melo and Finn Mika Salo, claimed the GT2 class in the second round of the American Le Mans Series, held at the circuit of St Petersburg in Florida. The car developed by the Corse Clienti department at Maranello, and prepared by Risi Competizione, got the better of the Porsche driven by van Overbeek/Bergmeister, to build on its win in the 12 Hours of Sebring - the opening race of 2007. For the record, the Audi duo of Capello/McNish took the LMP1 category.
