Todt: "It is a pleasure to greet Ferrari's friends"

Ferrari's Direttore Generale, Jean Todt, greeted the media at the Mugello circuit who had gathered for the 2005 Ferrari World Finals.
"It as always a pleasure to greet Ferrari's friends at an event like the World Finals", began Todt. This year is a little different as we are celebrating with the Clienti meeting the Scuderia, one that this year could not do better than third place in the World Constructors' and the Drivers' championships. There have been many special moments here over the past few days: the presentation of the FXX, of which there will be 29 examples built. There has also been the parade of sixty Enzos and the first public contact between the clients and the F430 Challenge that will run in its own series next year. Lastly, we have announced our sporting programme for 2006 with the F430 GT2. Obviously, we are here to celebrate with the people who participate in our championship. It has been an important year as we have, among other things, strengthened our technical certification programme for our Clienti Sport vehicles. We feel the great enthusiasm and enormous affection of our fans but it is clear that they would prefer to see Ferrari winning. This company has made motor-racing history down the years and its fans will support it even in difficult times".
