Ferrari's Managing Director, Amedeo Felisa, spoke today on the theme of Ferrari and innovation. The scene was the 'Europe Innova Conference 2006' organised by the European Commission in Valencia (Spain). The conference concludes tomorrow.

The conference theme is "Re-innovating Europe: challenger for clusters and innovative businesses" and has innovation in the traditional industrial sectors such as automobiles, construction and textiles as its focus.

Amedeo Felisa's address was entitled 'A business vision on innovation' and concentrated on Ferrari's choice of continuously innovating in areas related to the product, process, organisation and work environment.


"The image of Ferrari is characterised by its cars and by the new technological content employed in their construction", he stated.

He especially underlined the transfer of know-how from the Gestione Sportiva (Formula 1) to the Gestione Granturismo, made possible by a dedicated committee.

The audience was made up of international figures of the standing of Pilar del Castillo, Alain Pompidou and David White and particularly appreciated Ferrari's proposals.
