6 Hours of Vallelunga Gold Cup - Promising qualifying session for the MC12

The Maserati MC12 earned a place on the front row in this afternoon’s official qualifying ahead of the 6 Hours of Vallelunga Gold Cup.
At the end of the hour long session, the Racing Box car driven by Perazzini/Cioci/Lamy claimed second spot on the grid in a time of 1’31”545. Just in front of the MC12 was the Courage C65 in the LMP2 class.
The Maserati thus proved to be the fastest Gran Turismo on the circuit and will start as a favourite for one of the podium places tomorrow.
Mezzini/Conte/Bellin’s AF Corse Light took twenty-second in 1’42”675. Of the two Team Giudici Trofeos, the quickest was that driven by Giudici/Nannini/Arlotti/Gini, twenty-sixth in 1’46”076, one position up on the Trident with ‘Blu Max’/Mursia/Maranelli on board (1’49”269).
The race will start tomorrow at 10.30.
