ALICE AND DUCATI

Sponsorship agreement renewed for a further three years, linking Telecom Italia's high-speed internet brand with the official Ducati team.

Telecom Italia's high-speed internet brand will be lining up with the official Team Ducati motorbikes for next year's MotoGP season. The Alice brand name will appear on Loris Capirossi and Casey Stoner's 800cc Desmosedici GP7 bikes, as they challenge the Japanese giants for the 2007 MotoGP World Championship.

The three-year agreement builds on the relationship Alice has had with the Italian motorbike manufacturer since 2004. The Alice brand remains the Ducati team official sponsor until 2009. Telecom Italia has a long history of involvement with a sport that has illustrious traditions. Motorbike racing and telecommunications share the thrill of competition, the need to rise to the challenge, and the advancement of technological progress.

In three years of sponsorship Team Ducati and Alice have made the podium 17 times, winning six races, coming second five times and placing third six times.

Telecom Italia and Ducati are international ambassadors for Italian technology and both companies look forward to achieving even more on and off the racetrack over the next three seasons.
