FIA GT: Success also in Digione for Ferrari

The Ferrari F430 GTC did well in the sixth round of the FIA Gran Turismo championship. Equipped with Pirelli tyres and fielded by the Italian AF Corse team in the GT2 class, the car was competing at the French circuit of Digione.
The twin cars, driven by Mullen/Niarchos (Scuderia Ecosse) and Salo/Aguas (AF Corse), were both developed by Maranello's Corse Clienti. They finished second and third, respectively, giving the category podium an all-Ferrari appearance.
Thanks to this result, Ferrari has consolidated its lead in the Constructors' Cup and AF Corse its top spot in the team championship. Melo/Bobbi, meanwhile, maintain first place in the Drivers' standings.
The next round of the FIA GT championship will be held at Mugello on 17 September (pre-booking at www.ticketone.it).
