20/08/2006 An interesting start in prospect : engine changes alter starting grid

The back of the grid for today's fifth round of the FIA GT Championship will be a busy place, as a number of cars have changed their engines, putting them to the back of the field. The last row will include the nr 101 Vertigo Streiff and the nr 9 Zakspeed Saleen, both of which did not set a qualifying time further to problems. Just in front of them on the penultimate row, the two Ebimotors Porsches, which suffered engine failures. And on the anti-penultimate line, the nr 1 Vitaphone Maserati, victorious at Spa, which has changed its engine this morning and did not take part in the warm-up. It should make for an interesting start.... Click for the grid and starting drivers.
