TROFEO MASERATI EUROPE - OSCHERSLEBEN - Cerrai gets off on the right foot

The Roman was quickest in free practice ahead of the Trofeo Audemars Piguet Europa race.
The duel between the reigning champion (1'36"347) and Diego Alessi (1'36"405) characterised the session from the start. Alessi will be driving alone this weekend as Francesco Ravasio is absent. At the end of the sixty minute session, the gap between the two was only 58 thousandths. Behind them came Thurn und Taxis/ Von Saurma, author of the third fastest time (1'37"644). Next came Giacomo Ricci (1'37"672) who shares the drive with Nicolò Oddi in the Trofeo GranSport bearing the Guru livery.
Fifth was Alberto Vescovi (1'37"777), hoping to leave behind him the bad luck that has dogged his campaign so far. He has even switched to a blue coloured car.
The qualifying session will take place at 14.20 tomorrow.
