Victories for Santaniello and Belluzzi at Mugello in Ferrari Challenge

The Mugello International Circuit, (Florence) today hosted races in the fourth round of this season's Italian Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, the one make series, now in its fourteenth year and this season sees the F430 making its debut, along with a few 360 Modena, still eligible this year.

The main category for the F430 saw victory go to Fabio Santaniello in race-1, with the Maranello team driver crossing the finish line ahead of Giuseppe Ciro (Motor/Malucelli) and Dario Caso (CDP.) The afternoon race then ended with a win for Andrea Belluzzi (Motor,) beating the crew of Livio/Montani (Rossocorsa) and Philipp Baron (team Baron.)

As for the gentlemen drivers in the Shell Cup, Massimo Mantovani (Stile F) took the top spot in the morning race, ahead of Salvatore Insigne (team Maranello) and the crew of brothers, Victor and Giovanni Coggiola (team Forza.) The finishing order in race-2 ended with Insigne beating the duo of Sauto/Prinoth (Ineco) and Mantovani, who ended up second and third respectively.



In the separate classification for the 360 Modena, the spoils of victory were divided between Lorenzo Bontempelli (Rossocorsa) and Sandro Mucelli (Ineco.)

The Italian series of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy will be back on track over the weekend of the 9th July at Monza.
