Toni Vilander: The car adapted well to the circuit, thanks to the longer gear ratios. In my session I only needed a few laps to set my fast time. The real problem will be maintaining a high rhythm in the race. The heat and the asphalt that is hard on the tyres will be decisive factors tomorrow. As regards the set up in general, we can improve in fast curves.

Miguel Ramos: On the fast laps with new tyres, traffic on the track slowed me down. Unfortunately, in this heat it was not possible to make the most of the tyres for more than two or three laps. In any case, Vilander was quicker and the best I could hope to do was lower my time but not by more than half a second.



Luca Cappellari: The MC12 is an exceptional car to drive at Mugello. The heat will be a crucial factor.

Giambattista Giannoccaro: The car is perfectly balanced. From this race on we can count on carbon brakes, the same as the Racing Box MC12. My task will be to manage those tyres.
