BRITISH GT - SILVERSTONE - QUALIFYNG
Steve Brady – running alone in the returning Ultima – will start fifth, with Michael Bentwood completing the top six in the RJN Motorsport Nissan 350Z.



Phil Quaife set the pace in the GT3 class in an impressive eighth place overall ahead of the Trackspeed Porsche of David Ashburn, with Sean Edwards leading the Invitational Class.
The bio-diesel powered Trident was the only car not to set a time but is set to take part in the second qualifying session.

Andrew Kirkaldy completed a clean sweep of pole positions for the #35 Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari by taking pole position for the final race of the year at Silverstone.
With Nathan Kinch having put the car on pole for race one, Kirkaldy put in an even quicker lap in second qualifying with a time of 1min 21.449secs to finish comfortably ahead of Tim Mullen in the sister car, the Irish racer hoping to wrap up second place in the standings this weekend alongside team-mate Chris Niarchos.



Phil Keen and Ben Collins in the Eclipse Mosler and the Embassy Porsche will line up on row two, with Michael Caine in the Eurotech Porsche joined on row three by Stuart Moseley in the quickest GT3 car.
Row four will be the RJN Motorsports Nissan of Anthony Reid which got progressively quicker as the session wore on, with Piers Masarati – competing in the Invitational class this weekend in a Trackspeed Porsche completing the top eight.
