Chicken pox forces Corser out of the Brno test session

In the run-up to the turning point 6th round of the world championship, due to be held at Misano on the 25th June, the SBK and Supersport development teams are busy testing at Brno in the Czech Republic between today and Wednesday.
It looks, however, as if Troy Corser, who is reigning world champion and currently in second place in this year’s championship tables behind Troy Bayliss, might well be might be excluded from taking part.
The Australian, who rides for Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra, has contracted a form of chicken pox off his young son Kelani, and may well not make it into the saddle over the next few days despite the importance that these tests hold for the choice of Pirelli tyres for the second half of the championship season.
