Today, the Roman Vallelunga circuit hosted qualifying for the third round of this season's Italian Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy. The one-make series, now in its fourteenth year, this time sees the new F430 making its debut, alongside some 360 Modenas, allowed to compete for this one last year.

In the grid for the F430, both pole positions in the main class went to Andrea Belluzzi (Motor) while among the gentlemen drivers in the Shell Cup, the best times in the two official qualifying sessions were set by Massimo Mantovani (Stile F) and the crew of Sauto/Prinoth (Ineco.)

Among the 360 Modena cars, the quickest in the two sessions in preparation for tomorrow's races was Emanuele Moncini (Stile F.)

Tomorrow, events get underway at 10.15 with the first race of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy for the 360 Modena (live coverage of all the races exclusively on Mediaset Premium 5 on digital terrestrial.)
