At the Italian circuit of Misano Adriatico, second appointment of the Italian GT Championship, Maserati MC12s claimed a double win with Vilander-Giannoccaro (Playteam SaraFree) in first after race 1 (in second and third the Ferrari 430s driven by Zardo-Caffi and Pasini-Bobbi) and Luca Cappellari-Miguel Ramos (Racing Box, retired in race 1) winners of race 2, followed in second by Vilander-Giannoccaro and in third by Chiesa-Kessel's Ferrari 575 GTC. Not only wins for the Maseratis, but also the pole positions after the two qualifying sessions: the first one with Vilander (1'27"774) and the second with Cappellari (1'29"928). For Vilander and Giannoccaro this is the second consecutive win after the first palce obtained in Imola race 1.



Next round of Italian GT Championship is provided on next 28 May at Vallelunga circuit.
