Andrew Kirkaldy takes GT2 pole for Scuderia Ecosse

The Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari 420 GT2, driven by Andrew Kirkaldy, took pole position for Sunday's first round of the 2006 FIA GT Championship, in a wet 20-minute qualifying session. The car was fastest throughout, rising as high as 4th overall in the session. Second-fastest was the nr 75 Ebimotors Porsche 996 GT3 RSR, driven by Emmanuel Collard, with Tim Mullen third in the second Scuderia Ecosse car.
