Zakspeed and Scuderia Ecosse fastest in second free practice

Zakspeed set the best time in the second free practice session, with a lap of 1:44.049 in the Saleen S7, which had been fastest in the pre-season tests at Paul Ricard and Dijon. The car is shared between Sascha Bert of Germany and Jarek Janis of the Czech Republic. The GLPK Carsport Corvette C6 was second-fastest, with the nr 33 Race Alliance Aston Martin DBR9 third. They were followed by the two Vitaphone Maserati MC 12 cars in fourth and fifth, making four different makes in the top five. In GT2, the nr 62 Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari 430 GT2 of Kinch and Kirkaldy was fastest once again, with a time of 1:50.259, eleventh overall, leading a group of four Ferrari cars. The nr 58 AF Corse Ferrari of Matteo Bobbi and Jaime Melo was second, ahead of JMB Racing. The sole G2 car, the Belgian Racing Gillet Vertigo was 21st.
