Scuderia SC Caracchi parts company with Joshua Brookes

Joshua Brookes and Scuderia SC Caracchi Ducati have taken together a decision that, starting from the Monza round of the 2006 World Superbike Championship, will see the talented Australian rider no longer racing for the established Bologna-based team.
The first part of Brookes’ racing season did not give the Team the results that both were hoping to reach, and so both Rider and Team were forced to take together a difficult decision.
“Luckily Roberto Rolfo in Superbike is keeping the Team’s results at a high level with very good performances. In Supersport Luca Nedog is still maturing, but we are confident that with an increase in his experience he will be able to give us some satisfaction. It’s really a pity for Josh that we haven’t been able to make such a talented rider confident for the riding style of a Ducati, which on every occasion this year has shown to be very competitive.
At this point of the season I would like to thank all the Mechanics of the Team for the big enthusiasm and the sacrifices made. Thanks to them we succeeded in giving our riders machines capable of standing out in the World Championship.
At the end I want to thank with all my heart Josh for his dedication and his proper relationship with the team. We are sure that Joshua Brookes has a great future and we wish to Joshua Brookes to reach all the sporting results that his talent and his class deserves.
The new rider of Team SC Caracchi Ducati starting from Monza event is Britain’s Stuart Easton, who will race both British Supersport Championship and World Championship
