Nannelli on a Team Caracchi Ducati at Misano
Having missed the Valencia test session, Gianluca Nannelli is going to be back on the track for the Misano tests scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday this week at the Santamonica circuit in Misano. Surprisingly, Nannelli will not be riding the Yamaha R6 he rode in the first two championship races of the season, but one of the Ducati 749s of Stefano Caracchi’s team. Though Nannelli will still be wearing the colours of Team Edo Racing, he will actually be using one of the two bikes normally ridden by Joshua Brookes, the Australian signed by Team SC at the beginning of the season along with Slovenian Luka Nedog. Nannelli, from the Tuscany region of Italy, is hoping to line up on the starting grid for the next race in Valencia, and if that goes well, to continue riding in the remaining races of the Supersport championship.
