FIA GT - Bucharest meeting confirms support for FIA GT round

At a meeting held on Thursday, April 6th in the Bucharest town hall, the Mayor of the City and the President of the Romanian Automobile Club confirmed their support of the Bucharest round of the FIA GT Championship, to be held on October 1st. Mr Hermann Tilke, who has designed 33 circuits around the world, has also designed the street circuit of Bucharest and has presented his plans.The track will be 3.1km long around the Parliament. It will use the existing roads and only small changes will be made to some corners. The city circuit will be able to welcome 90.000 spectators.
