2006 is already looking to be an extremely intense and exciting year. The success and interest in the series is aptly shown by the quantity of entry requests, which has progressed even further since last year, resulting in the largest and most diverse Endurance grid in the world.
With a calendar of five races following the Official Testing at Paul Ricard (F) and the debut event at the magnificent Istanbul Park, 2006 is a season of transition ready to develop the future of its series.
An enormous success has also been seen in broadcasting. The 2005 viewing figures and the build up of broadcasts planned for 2006 confirms the Series’ footing as one of the major events in international motor sport.
