The Mugello International Circuit (Florence, Italy) will host the Ferrari World Finals, the traditional event that closes the Prancing Horse’s sports season, from Wednesday 19th to Sunday 23rd October.

Events include the final rounds of the season for the Italian, European and American Ferrari 360 Challenge Pirelli Trophy series, along with the usual final race to decide the outright champion on a world level. It will also mark the unveiling of the new F430 Challenge, which will be used in the Ferrari one-make series as from next year. Also not to be missed on the Tuscan track, the 2005 grand finale for the Shell Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge, also open to the historic cars from the Trident marque.


Completing the busy programme will be an exhibition of the single-seaters prepared by the F1 Clienti department at Maranello and a demonstration from Scuderia Ferrari providing the highpoint of the final day.

Attached is the provisional timetable of the event. Media accreditation requests should be sent to the Motor Sport Press Office, for the attention of Alberto Borgini only by fax (+39 0536 949049) on headed paper from the organisation concerned, signed by a representative of the company. Replies will be sent again by fax. The final deadline for sending in a request is 20h00 on Monday 17th October 2005.

Holders of permanent FIA credentials or of the various 2005 Ferrari championships must also follow the above procedure to obtain the necessary accreditation.

TV broadcasters are asked to specify details of whatever special trucks they plan to bring (make, size, registration number and driver’s phone number, as well as planned time and date of arrival.) The request should also state if the main video feed is required. Producers will receive in the confirmation fax precise instructions as to procedure and times for accessing the correct compound, as well as the permitted broadcasting methods as per the television rights.
