FIA GT - Date 23/03/2006: 2006 FIA GT calendar confirmed
The most recent meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council, which took place in Paris on March 22nd, confirmed the 2006 calendar of the FIA GT Championship. The Paul Ricard event has not been mentioned due to an administrative hiccup. However, both Paul Ricard and SRO confirm that the paperwork is underway, between the ASN du Var, the FFSA and the FIA. The Paul Ricard circuit and SRO Ltd confirmed that the event will be organised on August 19th and 20th.
