RELIVE DRAMA OF HISTORIC 54TH RUNNING OF MOBIL 1 TWELVE HOURS OF SEBRING

Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo Capello won the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in the No. 2 Audi R10 TDI.
The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will go down in history as one of the greatest and most significant races in the history of American Le Mans Series and global sports car racing, as well. A video recap is now available on the official Web site of the Series.

The clip recounts the amazing run by the No. 2 diesel-powered Audi R10 TDI, which won the race from the back of the field after starting from pit lane. Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen (now a four-time Sebring winner) and Rinaldo Capello turned in a nearly flawless performance to make the R10 TDI the first diesel-powered car to win a major sports car race in the world.

Intersport Racing's heroic victory over Penske Racing also is chronicled as the defending LMP2 champions outlasted the two Porsche RS Spyders and an elite field of P2 entries. Also in the clip is the dominating showing put forth by Corvette Racing's new edition No. 4 Corvette C6.R, which led nearly 11 hours in its race debut. Finally, Multimatic Motorsports Team Panoz' dramatic victory highlights the GT2 recap, which saw the Panoz Esperante end Porsche's win streak at Sebring. It sets the stage for a tremendous battle all season in what will be more of the most competitive fields ever.
