At Valencia and Misano SBK Official Test

The pause between the first two races in Qatar and Australia and the third meeting scheduled for the 23rd of April in Valencia, Spain, is there for a reason.
Two official test sessions have already been planned to fill it. The first will be held from the 27th to the 29th March at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain. The second will run from the 12th to the 13th of April at the Santamonica circuit in Misano, Italy.
These sessions are of particular importance and serve a double purpose.
1) They will provide the teams with initial technical results after the first two races that have already established a clear running order for the World Superbike and Supersport Championships, though the gaps separating the leaders are minimal and can easily change between now and the end of the season.
2) They will also enable the teams to make setup adjustments ready for the coming spring and the hot summer weather that the riders have already sampled in Australia.

Everybody is eager for this brief break from racing. Both championships understand the importance of testing and all the teams will be participating actively. After April, the races come thick and fast, and there will be precious little time for testing.
The World Championships will also have to run in parallel with the European Superstock 600 and 1000 Championships due to begin in Valencia.
