Ferrari Challenge Europe at Vallelunga Skryabin, Casč, Di Amato and Guedes triumph in front of 33.000 spectators

Repeating and even exceeding the success of last year, there were more than 33.000 spectators at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi di Vallelunga for the eighth and penultimate round of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Series, with exciting races that saw more than 30 drivers take to the track including both professionals and amateurs.
Among the entrants for the Trofeo Pirelli, Alexandr Skryabin took victory in Race 1, also coming out on top in the Coppa Giovani, reserved for drivers under 22. The Russian kicked off a splendid treble for the Ferrari Moscow team, followed by his team-mates Alessandro Balzan and Bjorn Grossmann. In Race 2 Lorenzo Casč (Motor/Piacenza) managed to fend off the attacks of the competitive Ferrari Moscow duo of Balzan and Grossmann, joining them in the standings and delaying the title fight until Valencia. Among the young drivers, victory in the second race went to Alexander Martin (Stratstone Ferrari) who was fifth overall.
In the Coppa Shell, success in Race 1 went to Daniele Di Amato (CDP) who, making the most of his pole from yesterdays qualifying, took the flag in front of Alexey Basov of Russian team Ferrari Moscow and Alessandro Vezzoni (Rossocorsa/Pellin), who were second and third respectively. But it was Francisco Guedes (Motor/Piacenza) who made it to the first step of the podium in Race 2, finishing ahead of Basov and Vezzoni. In the Coppa Gentleman the stars of the show were Erich Prinoth (Ineco MP) in the first race and Vincenzo Sauto in the second.
