Help from Japan for the Italian earthquake

Valencia, 22 June

Support from “Ferraristi” knows no bounds, as can be seen from this week’s auction that raised over 1.8 million Euros for families of the victims of the earthquake that hit Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region these past weeks. Today, came a further contribution from friends of RossoxRosso, a Japanese Ferrari enthusiasts club, which collected over 100,000 Yen. This morning in Valencia, the journalist Masami Yamaguchi, the coordinator of RossoxRosso, along with Hirohide Hamashima the Scuderia’s Japanese engineer, who was the intermediary for this initiative, handed over the amount as an ‘omimai’ (gift) to Team Principal Stefano Domenicali, on behalf of the group of Prancing Horse fans: a small but significant amount, which will help those currently suffering, that has come from a people which understands very well the havoc that nature can cause.
