Af Corse Ferrari takes GT Sprint Race 1 victory
Spa-Francorchamps, 7 August
Niki Cadei, at the wheel of the very quick Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 took the win on Belgium’s demanding Spa circuit. Having already shown he was on top form in qualifying, the AF Corse driver dominated the GT Sprint Race 1, fending off the Ferrari 430 GTC of Matteo Cressoni (Racing Team Edil Cris) and that of the Venezuelan Gaetano Ardagna Perez, also entered by AF Corse.
In fifth place, we find another Ferrari, the Racing Team Edil Cris F430 GTC of Michael Dalle Stelle, who finished ahead of a close fight for sixth between Giacomo Barri (F430 GTC Vittoria Competizioni) and Marco Antonelli (Porsche- Antonelli Motorsport) all taking the chequered flag in that order. Race 2 gets underway at 17.30.
