Italian GT Championship: A Ferrari one-two at Mugello

The Mugello circuit played host this weekend to the fifth round of the Italian GT Championship, on the demanding slopes of the track near Florence. In both races for the GT2-GT3 and GT4 classes, the victors’ laurels went to the Edil Cris Ferrari crewed by Linos and Linossi. At the wheel of their F430 GTC, they produced a fantastic win, getting the better of the Victor Racing Porsche driven by Giovanni and Victor Coggiola, who had to retire in the second leg after a close fight for the win in the category.
The next round of the Italian GT Championship takes place at Vallelunga on 18th September, for the sixth of seven rounds this season.
