Pole for Ciro-Perez (F430) at Portimao. Cadei-Mancini quickest in GTS3 with the 458 Italia GT3

On the same race card as the European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the Algarve International Circuit is also hosting the third round of the GT Sprint International Series. Today was giving over to qualifying ahead of two races taking place tomorrow at 9.35 and 14.35.
The battle for pole position was resolved in favour of Giuseppe Ciro and Gaetano A. Perez who, at the wheel of the AF Corse run F430 set a fastest time of 1.46.57, followed by the same team’s 458 Italia GT3 and crewed by Niki Cadei and Fabio Mancini, who were first in the GTS3 class with a time of 1.46.745. Also at the front end of the grid is Giacomo Barri, third overall and second in the GTS2 class in the Vittoria Competizioni F430 in a time of 1.47.153, in a rerun of the result achieved in Valencia.
