Spanish GT Championship – Ferrari on the podium at Estoril

This past weekend, the F430 GT2 cars were taking part in the fourth round of the Spanish GT Championship, with the Estoril circuit hosting a two hours and ten minutes race. The Ferrari-crew of Francesco Cruz Martins and Hogo Godinho crossed the line second behind the GTS category Porsche driven by Gianluca Roda and Gabriele Giammaria to take the win in the Super GT class, ahead of the Porsche 911 of Miguel Amaral and Miguel Angel de Castro and the other F430 of Juan Manuel Lopez and Manuel Giao.
The result sees Cruz Martins and Godinho in the ART team’s Ferrari consolidate its championship lead, thirty points ahead of the sister car of Lopez and Giao. The next round of the Iberian series takes place at the Navarra circuit over the weekend of 26 September.
