The Emilia-Romagna region and its producers will be present at the "Mito e Velocità - Creatività, bellezza e innovazione italiana" (Myth and velocità – creativity, beauty and Italian innovation) event. The exhibition is part of an extraordinary Made in Italy promotional programme supported by ICE and favoured by the Ministry of Production to push Italo-Russian cultural and economic exchange.

The exhibition, realised in collaboration with ANFIA (Associazione Nazionale fra Industrie Automobilistiche) has aims to promote Italian technological excellence in the automobile field and its related sectors, in particular components, logistics, biotechnology, ICT, aerospace and high speed.The exhibition will be held between 27 January and 12 February 2006 in a prestigious location, the Czars’ ex-riding academy opposite the Kremlin. The event is aimed at the Russian business sector (producers, distributors and end users), the academic world and opinion makers from the world of media, public administration, political institutions and finance and management.



A visually stunning display area will host products from Italy. A zone named "Occhio" will feature images from the production sites. There will also be a historic, cultural and artistic journey through dynamism, modernity and velocity. Included here will be an elegant Maserati Quattroporte.

An intense programme of technical seminars, conferences, presentations, workshops and lectures will be held. The objective of these talks is to present the entire system of Italian technology in the most effective way.

The Emilia-Romagna region will have a strong presence with a 300m3 space created in association with Confindustria Emilia-Romagna.

This area will focus on the excellence of the motoring and advanced mechanics of the region, one that has long blended the winning combination of tradition, creativity and innovative technology. This is symbolised by the House of Modena.

Visitors to the zone will enjoy a tour of the automobile, motorcycling, engine building and advanced mechanics sectors. Maserati will, naturally, be among the companies from Emilia-Romagna who will take to Russia an example of their produce. The Trident company will appear with the flagship Quattroporte and a fantastic GranSport.

Events dedicated to the Emilia-Romagna region will allow Russian business people and journalists a chance to get to know the region.
