FOTA meets the Formula 1 fans

FOTA, the Formula One Teams Association, the umbrella organisation for all Formula 1 teams entered in the 2010 World Championship, met up with 150 fans as part of the FOTA Fans Forum, sponsored by Santander.

With English journalist James Allen hosting the event, team representatives answered questions from the fans on a variety of topics, from the commercial side to the rules of the sport, as well as more technical questions. The subjects debated ranged from the cost of admission tickets, to rethinking the rules that limit testing, as well as moveable wings, safety and the transfer of technology.

The meeting was deemed to be worthwhile and positive by all participants, with many Ferrari fans present, even though the Maranello team was “playing away from home.”
